Should I use Credit Karma Tax for filing or not?

I used it last year and got my refund with no issues. BUT my friend had to amend his return, and Credit Karma didn’t support that. He had to redo everything with another service. So if you think you might need edits later be careful.

I filed with them last year. It's pretty straightforward, and honestly i didn’t find any hidden fees. But if u have a super complicated tax situation, you might want to go with TurboTax or something. It works well for basic returns though

Used it last year. Got my refund in like 8 days. Faster than TurboTax the year before. So yeah, would recommend for basic filers.

Used it last year. Totally free, no upsell BS like TurboTax. If your taxes are basic (W-2s, 1099s, standard deduction), it's smooth sailing. Wouldn’t recommend it if you have rental income or crypto though

Honestly it’s solid for basic returns. But if you have freelance income, crypto, or dependents in multiple states... might wanna look into TaxAct or FreeTaxUSA instead.

I honestly prefer FreeTaxUSA. It’s also super cheap and handles more complex returns better. But if u r broke and have W2s, CK is a win.
