has anyone dealt with Amsher collection services?

i recently found amsher collection services on my credit report and i don’t recall ever receiving a notice from them. has anyone had experience dealing with them? i want to make sure if i approach this the right way before making any payments.

If you don’t remember getting a notice from Amsher, the first step is to request debt validation in writing. They’re required to provide proof that the debt is legit and that you actually owe it.

In the meantime, check your old bills and contact the original creditor to see if they really sent the account to collections. If Amsher can’t provide proper documentation, you may be able to dispute it and have it removed.

You might have the option to negotiate a settlement or a pay for delete (PFD) agreement but be sure to get written confirmation before making any payments.

First validate the debt and send a debt validation letter to AmSher to confirm it's legit before paying. but if they can’t verify it they must remove it. If it’s valid you can try negotiating a pay-for-delete or settle for less.

send them a debt validation letter requesting proof before making any payments but if they can’t verify it they must remove it so you need to stay firm first.
