Does Credit Repair in Texas Actually Work?

I’m dealing with some old collections and a few late payments that are holding my score down. I’ve seen ads for credit repair Texas, but I don’t know which ones actually deliver results. Has anyone here had success with a credit repair service in Texas? Did they help improve your score, or was it just a waste of money?
 
Old collections and late payments take time to recover from but paying them down and building new positive history helps the most. Some Texas credit repair services can help dispute errors but they can’t remove legit negatives.
so in my advice be careful with big promises!
 
I’ve been in a similar situation, and it really depends on the service you choose
some credit repair companies in Texas, like Credit Saint or The Credit Pros, have good reviews but DIY dispute methods can work too.
 
Yeah i used a service out of Dallas last year. They got 2 collections deleted and my score went from 560 to 680 in like 4 months. not magic but it helped.
 
Be careful though. Some of those companies are basically charging you for stuff you could do yourself. Disputing errors sending goodwill letters… it ain’t rocket science.
 
Yup used one called Credit Saint last year when i was drowning in old medical debt. They actually got 3 collections removed. took about 4 months tho and u gotta stay on top of them.
 
I used Credit Saint last year outta Houston. Took about 6 months but they got 3 collections deleted. Not magic but it worked if u r patient. Definitely not free though ?
