National Credit Systems- Pay For Delete?

Hi everyone, I've been struggling to resolve a late rent issue with National Credit Systems (NCS) for a while now, and it's impacting my credit score. I'm hoping to hear from others who have dealt with NCS and get some advice.

Here's the situation:
I recently started a new job, and things got hectic. Unfortunately, I completely forgot about paying rent for a month.

When I realized the mistake, I immediately set up automatic payments to cover the past due rent and future months. A few days ago, I received a collection letter from NCS on behalf of my landlord, demanding payment for the late rent with a late fee.

I'm committed to resolving this, but ideally through a "pay for delete" agreement. I contacted NCS, and the representative confirmed they offer "pay for delete" but only after full payment.

However, they refused to provide written confirmation of this agreement
My questions are:
Has anyone successfully received a "pay for delete" confirmation in writing from NCS?
Is there a guarantee that they'll actually remove the collection record from my credit report after payment?
Any advice or similar experiences dealing with NCS on rent-related debt would be greatly appreciated!

I ended up calling them today, and they mentioned it would be cheaper to handle it over the phone rather than through the site which I thought was a bit strange. honestly, I just wanted to get this over with. good luck, man!

I have a collection from NCS, but I have no idea what it’s for. There’s no information about where the collection originated, and no one I’ve spoken to has been able to give any answers. I’ve tried it twice, but it keeps getting denied. I’m not sure what to do since there’s absolutely no information about its source.

Everything a credit repair company can do, you can do on your own. However, the cost I paid to make it a completely hands-off process (automated billing and all) and the results they delivered were absolutely worth it.

For me, it came down to opportunity cost. I’m happy with every penny I spent because they’ve significantly improved my life situation.

This is hilarious. am dealing with the same issue with NCS. They randomly disappeared from my EQ but are still showing on my TU. Honestly, it’s not even worth trying to talk to them.
