Mountain America

Looking into Mountain America credit union and was wondering if anyone here has personal experience with them.
How’s their customer service online banking and overall reliability? I'm considering opening an account or possibly moving some of my savings there but I’d love to hear what others think before making the switch. Any pros or cons you’ve noticed? Worth it compared to a traditional bank?

Been with them for 6 years. Online banking is solid never had downtime. Their app’s not flashy but it works. I’ve dealt with fraud once and they froze my card within minutes. Customer service gets a 9/10 from me.

I’ve been with Mountain America for 6 years now. Their customer service is actually one of the best I’ve ever dealt with. Got locked out of my online banking once and they helped me out within minutes. Highly recommend.

I opened a savings account with them mostly for the higher APY than my Chase account. No complaints so far. But also… i don’t ask for much. I basically just let my money sit there like it’s in financial time out. 😂

Their overdraft protection saved my butt more times than i care to admit. Also love that they offer free financial literacy webinars. Nerdy but cool.

Their mobile app is just okay. Gets the job done, but it’s not going to win any design awards. At least it doesn’t crash randomly like Wells Fargo’s 😬
