Is Better tax relief a trustworthy choice or not

I’m looking for help with tax debt and considering their services but I don’t want to waste money if it’s not legit. They claim to negotiate with the IRS and reduce what you owe but I’ve seen mixed reviews about tax relief companies in general. Some people say they got real help

If you’ve had experience with them I’d love to know?

if your tax situation isn’t too complex, you might be able to set up a payment plan directly with the IRS or look into the fresh start program

Relief companies can be hit or miss, they often charge hefty fees
A tax relief company will basically just do that for you... but charge a lot.

My dad hired a tax relief company once and ended up paying them $3K only to realize they just set up a monthly payment plan something he could’ve done himself in 10 minutes online. He was not happy.

I totally get where u are coming from! some people do get real help but others end up paying a lot with little to no results. if u are considering them check their credentials read reviews and maybe even get a free consultation first. also the IRS has programs you can apply for directly so it’s worth looking into all your options.

I get your concern some tax relief companies help but others just charge high fees without real results. check reviews, verify their credentials and see if the IRS offers a payment plan that could save you money.

Be careful with tax relief companiesbecause some do help but many overpromise and underdeliver. The IRS rarely settles for pennies on the dollar unless you truly qualify. If you are in serious tax debt, consider speaking with a tax attorney or an enrolled agent first
Have you checked if you qualify for an IRS payment plan or Offer in Compromise yourself

Tax relief companies can help but many overpromise and underdeliver. The IRS rarely just erases debt and most legit relief comes through payment plans or settlement programs like Offer in Compromise.

The IRS fresh start program is legitimate but you don’t need to hire a company to apply.

Many tax relief firms simply handle the paperwork for you and charge significant fees for their services.

Totally get where u are coming from
dealing with tax debt is stressful enough without wondering if you're getting scammed. Some of these companies do help but others just take your money and do little or nothing you couldnt do yourself.
If they’re making big promises like wiping out most of your debt or guaranteeing results than that’s definitely a red flag.

If their marketing strategy involves some guy aggressively shouting at you on TV about how they can magically erase your tax debt that’s a major red flag.

Legitimate help doesn’t come with over-the top scare tactics if it sounds too good to be true it probably is
Run the other way.

I actually had a good experience with them. My case was a mess and they helped reduce penalties and got me into a manageable payment plan. Expensive, but worth it for me

I actually used Better Tax Relief and they helped me set up a payment plan. No miracle debt forgiveness but at least i’m not drowning in interest anymore

I had a pretty decent experience. Took like 6 months, cost me about $3k and i still ended up owing the IRS but they got penalties waived. I’ll take it.

Honestly, I was in the same boat last year, and I ended up going with Better Tax Relief. They helped me reduce my debt by 40%. I was skeptical at first but they seemed legit

I actually used Better Tax Relief last year and they helped me knock my tax debt from $17k to around $6k. It wasn’t overnight and definitely not cheap but they did deliver.

Not affiliated, but i work in tax law. These companies typically don't do anything u can’t do yourself with an Offer in Compromise. But if u r overwhelmed and need hand holding, they can help.

I actually used Better Tax Relief back in 2021. I owed about $18k to the IRS and was in full panic mode. They did help lower it to about $9k through an Offer in Compromise, but it wasn’t cheap. I paid around $3k in fees. Not a scam but not magic either.

My aunt used them and it worked out, but i still think people should go in knowing there’s no guarantee they can lower your debt. These services can help u navigate the system, not bend it.

Totally agree. I owed $12K and literally filled out Form 433-A and mailed it in myself. IRS set me up with a payment plan in 3 weeks. No fees its just a stress.
