How do you register a zip code on Vanilla Gift card?

I recently bought a Vanilla prepaid gift card to use for some online purchases, but I’m having trouble registering a zip code for it. I know a zip code is often required for online transactions, but when I tried adding it through VanillaGift.com, the option seemed unavailable.

I also called the number on the back of the card, but every time I input my zip code, it doesn’t seem to save. The automated system just says, “There is no registered zip code” when I check again.

Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there a workaround or something I’m missing? Its super frustrating because I need this card to work for an online order ASAP. Any advice would be appreciated.
 
I used several Vanilla cards recently and didn’t need to add a zip code. For sites that asked, I just typed my own zip, and it worked fine.
