Tri-Merge Credit Report Vendors

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but who do you all use for tri-merge credit reports?

Right now, we have direct access to one of the major bureaus, but not all three. We’re trying to find a reliable source for full tri-merges and would appreciate any recommendations.

Honestly, most mortgage brokers I know stick with Credco. It’s been around forever and integrates with a ton of LOS systems. The pricing is not the cheapest, but it’s super stable and widely accepted, which matters if you’re submitting loans.

I’ve used CBCInnovis (now part of Factual Data) for tri-merges in the mortgage space. They’ve been pretty reliable, but pricing can be steep depending on your volume. The real kicker is compliance hoops.....lots of paperwork upfront. If you’re smaller scale, it can feel like overkill. Worth it if you need fast turnaround though.

If you’re looking for legit tri-merge reports, the main vendors are usually CBCInnovis, MeridianLink, and CoreLogic. They’re the ones most mortgage brokers use. It’s not cheap though, especially if you’re just dabbling. The compliance hoops are real too.....you’ll need office inspections, secure storage, and so on. But once you’re set up, the reports are very reliable.

We use MeridianLink for our tri-merges. It’s been pretty solid for a few years now. Pricing isn’t the cheapest, but you get reliability and decent customer support when things go sideways. Just be prepared for compliance checks.....they’re strict about pulling reports only for legit purposes.

Experian actually has a broker service that lets you pull tri-merges directly without having to maintain separate bureau accounts. Not cheap, but it’s convenient. Keep in mind you usually need to be in mortgage, tenant screening, or something regulated to get that access. Regular credit repair shops often get denied.

I use Advantage Credit for tri-merges. It is mostly geared toward mortgage brokers, but if you qualify, they’re pretty solid. The reports aren’t cheap though, and the setup fees can be a bit of a pain. The biggest perk is their customer support, which has been super responsive for me. They also integrate with some LOS systems. Worth checking out if you’re in lending.
