I’ve been seeing some mentions online about a Cash App settlement in 2025 but I haven’t found any solid info yet. Does anyone know what this is about?
Is it a class action a data breach issue or something else entirely?
Also wondering if you’re eligible how do you check or file a claim? Just trying to figure out if this actually applies to me or if it’s one of those things that gets blown out of proportion online.
 
Can confirm...it was a breach involving names and brokerage account numbers. No SSNs or passwords were exposed but still serious enough for legal action.
 
Wait what? i use Cash App daily. They better not have let some random ex-employee peek at my sushi transactions and regrettable late night crypto buys 😩
 
The emails didn’t come from Cash App directly..they usually come from a settlement administrator. Mine came from a domain ending in @cashappsettlement.com. Looks sketchy, but it checked out.
 
Yup i filed my claim yesterday. If u had a Cash App account between 2018-2022, you're probably eligible. I just had to enter my email and some basic info. it probably took 3 minutes.
