Anyone Worked with Reliant Credit Repair?

I’ve been seeing a lot of ads and social media posts about Reliant Credit Repair and it got me wondering has anyone here actually used them?

My credit isn’t horrible, but I’ve got a few dings some old collections and a couple of late payments and I’m trying to give my score a solid boost. I’ve already done some DIY work but I’m thinking maybe it’s time to see if a pro can help take it further.

That said i’m a bit skeptical. There are so many credit repair companies out there making big promises, and I know not all of them are trustworthy. If anyone’s had experience with Reliant positive or negative I’d really appreciate your take. Were they upfront about costs? Did they actually help? Or was it more of that “fix your credit fast” hype?

Yeah i actually tried Reliant about a year ago. They did get one collection removed, but honestly it was already scheduled to fall off. So kind of meh results for the money i paid.

I haven’t used Reliant but general rule is if they charge up front, it’s illegal. Per the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), they can’t do that.

Did all my disputes through Credit Karma templates and honestly fixed 80% of my issues. No shade to people hiring help but it's not rocket science.

Used Reliant last year. Mixed bag honestly. They did get two collections off my report but it took like 4 months and cost more than i expected.

I haven't used them personally but i checked out their BBB page out of curiosity. Some complaints about billing transparency but also a fair amount of positive reviews.

I had a good experience. They walked me through everything, were transparent on fees ($99/month when I signed up), and I got my score from 590 to 690 in 6 months. Helped me refinance my car loan too!

Freeze your credit reports, pull them all manually from annualcreditreport.com, and start there. I did that and fixed 4 late payments myself. Took time but $0 spent.

Actually used Reliant! Started with a 580 now I’m at 695 after 6 months. They removed two collections and an old Verizon account i couldn’t get rid of myself. Not perfect but they helped.

Before paying anyone, try sending goodwill letters to your creditors and dispute inaccuracies with the bureaus. That alone boosted my score by 40 points. No fees necessary.

Totally get the hesitation. I’ve been there....couple lates, a weird medical bill in collections. It feels overwhelming. I didn’t use Reliant but ended up using Lexington Law.

Worked in credit repair for 3 years. Most of these companies use the same boilerplate letters. What really matters is persistence. Reliant isn’t the worst but don’t expect miracles.

I haven't worked with Reliant but i highly recommend looking into credit unions or non-profits first. Some offer free or low-cost counseling that’s actually useful and not predatory.

I used them for 6 months and saw like a 20-point increase. They weren’t shady but not magical either. They did send monthly progress reports which was kinda nice.

There’s a guide on nerdwallet. u just write to the bureaus....Experian, Equifax, TransUnion and explain the error with documentation. Don’t pay anyone for this.

I tried them in 2021. They got one collection removed, but also disputed stuff that wasn’t incorrect and it just came back verified.
That felt pointless

Used Reliant. Left after 3 months. All they did was pull my credit and send auto disputes. Literally things I already did on Credit Karma. No new results.
