Has anyone here worked with a reputable credit repair service in the Tampa area? Ideally looking for someone local I can actually meet with but I’m open to remote help too if the company is legit.

What I’m looking for:
  • Honest, upfront pricing
  • Real results (not just promises)
  • Help with disputing inaccurate items and building credit going forward
 
I used Clean Slate Credit in Tampa. Super transparent pricing and they actually educated me throughout the process. Took a few months but i saw legit bumps in my score.
 
I used Credit Saint remotely and they actually got a few collections off my report. Not Tampa based but they were upfront and didn’t promise miracles.
 
Check out Safeport Law. They’re in Florida and operate more like a law firm than a typical credit repair agency. Legit, responsive and they offer a Credit Cleanse plan that was actually worth it IMO.
 
I used a local guy named Rico from Ybor City. Helped my mom dispute some weird hospital charges and got 2 collections removed. He’s not fancy but he gets it done. DM me if you want his info
 
Met with Sky Blue Credit via Zoom. No pressure sales, straight answers. They refunded me after 3 months when I didn’t need more work. That kind of honesty is rare.
 
If you’re set on local help, check out Tampa Credit Repair Solutions on Kennedy Blvd. Met with them in person, very no-BS. Charged me $100/month and helped me raise my score from 590 to 680 in about 8 months.
 
Honestly u might want to start with the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Tampa Bay. They're non-profit and can help you figure out if u even need a full on repair company.
 
I used The Credit Pros remotely. Based in NJ but super professional. Did Zoom calls and everything. They laid out a plan no hidden fees. Boosted my score 72 points in 6 months
 
I used Credit Saint remotely last year and saw solid results within 3 months. I’m not in Tampa but figured i’d mention it since they were super transparent. Pricing wasn’t sketchy and they actually explained what was going on with my report.

I worked with Credit Saint and they were actually pretty solid. Pricey, yeah but they got 5 negatives off my report in 3 months. Still gotta do the credit building part myself though.
 
Skip the flashy ads and TikTok experts. Look for someone who follows FCRA guidelines and offers a written contract. Local is nice but remote can work if the company is legit like Sky Blue or Lexington Law...though mixed reviews there. Just avoid the ones that charge before doing anything. 🚩
